And right in our backyard there is this rock formation called Cape Clear. A 430-meter rock face that provides its visitors a most gorgeous and unparalleled view over the highlands and down to the picturesque Margaree River Valley and Big Intervale.
Day 1
4 hours guided tour to Cape Clear
The most beautiful view on the beaten path!
The winding, rough roads can be challenging at times. That's why we have partnered up with our friends from TNT outdoor adventure tours. Turk a certified knowledgeable ATV/UTV operator will pick you up at the Lodge where the trail starts, and guides you on the 6-Seater Side-by-Side through the Highlands. Join the thrill and excitement of riding Cape Breton's back country trails, the most fun way to experience the 4 hours adventure to Cape Clear and back!
Day 2
5 hours guided hiking tour to second fork brook falls
explore the lush green of the backcountry and get the best view of second forks falls.
This guided tour to the second fork brook falls is a more challenging one! Organized und guided by the knowledgeable local guide Live Life in Tent. Prepare for 5-6 hours of hiking deep into the ancient old growth forest to a two tiered waterfall very few know of. There is no trail so you will be bushwhacking, climbing over wet rocks and crossing the river (yes, you 'll be getting wet) but, if you're up for the challenge it is highly recommended!
Distance: 16 km round trip - Elevation gain: 266 feet
